She is survived by her husband, John Marbot; her son, David Marbot; her daughter, Karen L. Marbot (Kristine M. Wohlfahrt); and five grandchildren, Brandon Marbot (Michelle), Alex Marbot (Carley), Bryan Marbot, Garrett Marbot and Katharine L. Marbot. A memorial service will be held on Monday, February 9, 2015, at 7 p.m., at the Valley Falls United Methodist Church, 16 State St., Valley Falls, with the Rev. G. Ewart Morris officiating. A private burial will be at the convenience of the family. There will be no calling hours. Memorial contributions, if desired, may be made to the Valley Falls United Methodist Church, 16 State St., Valley Falls, NY 12185, in memory of Lois E. Marbot. Memorial service details are under the direction of the Howard B. Tate & Son Funeral Home, Inc., located in Raymertown.
