She was a dietician at Franklin County Hospital. Preceding her in death were her parents, Albert Fletcher Arnold and Annie Grammer Arnold; husband, Alton Odell Bassett, Sr.; and son, Alton Odell Bassett, Jr. Survived by daughters, Nancy Bassett Syler of Nashville and Charlotte Girard of Mount Washington, Kentucky; son, Allen Dale Bassett of Morrison; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren. Visitation is 3-8 p.m. Friday at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Moore-Cortner Chapel, with Brother David Lifferth and Brother Charles Scott officiating.
