Ronald David Bass, Jr. was born on March 22, 1971, to Ronald and Linda Bass in Reedsburg Memorial Hospital. Ron passed away on February 25, 2025, at the age of 53 years old after a very short battle with cancer.
Ron loved his children and I, to the moon and back. Ron was extremely proud of his grandkids and took such pride in every single one of them. During Ron?s last days as we were looking at picture of our family and he said, ?Well we did good mom, our family is amazing. The kids are so strong, and they have a bond that is unbreakable. I know that you all will be okay and that is what makes it so hard to say goodbye to you all.?
Ron loved to spend time on the river with whoever wanted to put a worm in the water. Ron was so relaxed when fishing and he loved to teach the grandkids how to fish.
Ron for all the years he worked in construction and travelled for his job would say the people he worked with were not just his co-workers and friends but in a way, they were family.
Ron came from a very large family and was so proud of where he came from. He loved telling stories of his sisters, brothers and cousins, that were like his brothers.
Ron is survived by his wife Renee Bass of 30 years. His children, Tricia (Ben) Bass, Zac Bass, Chelsey Vogel, Austin (Mackenzie) Bass, Madison Bass and Keygun Bass. Grandchildren, Alex, Ava, Jaxson, Jude, Jocie, Nellie Kane and Genevieve. Mothers Linda Schmitz and Gin Rhodenhizer. Fathers Dan Rhodenhizer and Father-in-law Chirs Christensen. Many sisters, brothers and brothers-in-law.
Ron was proceeded in death by his father Ronald Sr, and Erv Schmidt, Mother Kathy Bass, mother-in-law Noreen Christensen and Judy. Two brothers. Mom and Dad Bair.
A benefit for Ron will be held on May 17, 2025, from 1pm to 7pm at Fox Hollow.
