Charlotte Ann (Bassett) Girard (1957-2018) (Picture included)
GIRARD, Charlotte Ann, age 60 of Mt. Washington, Kentucky, passed away on Wednesday, March 21, 2018, at her residence. She was born on Oct. 25, 1957, in Winchester to the late Alton Odelle Basset Sr. and Ozelle Arnold Bassett. She was a mortgage lender and Mary Kay representative and a member of the Bethel United Methodist Church in Kentucky. She loved visiting her grandchildren in North Carolina and Tennessee and enjoyed shopping for jewelry, clothes and shoes. She also enjoyed going to the beach and talking on the phone to family and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Alton "Buddy" Bassett Jr.; sister, Nancy Syler; and stepdaughter, Michelle Girard. She is survived by her husband of 11 years, Paul Girard of Mt. Washington, Kentucky; children, Joshua (Stacie) Grizzell of Monteagle and Jonathan Grizzell of Kingston; stepdaughters, Samantha (Brian) Anderson of Woodlee, North Carolina and Monica (Joe) Martin of Salisbury, North Carolina; grandchildren, Becca, Caleb and Ian; step-grandchildren, Michelle, Cooper, Hailee, Paisley and Shelby-Jo; great-grandchild, C.J. Hampton; and brother, Allen Bassett. Visitation with the family will be held on Saturday, March 24, 2018, at 11 a.m. at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home in Winchester. Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, March 24, 2018, at 3:30 p.m. with Pastor Jerry Lawson officiating. Interment will be in the Franklin Memorial Gardens in Winchester.
