Wanda June Bassett

Wanda June Bassett, age 90, of Fresno, California went to be with the Lord on Saturday February 23, 2019.
Wanda was born in Dadeville, Missouri on August 7, 1928 to Frank and Eunice Fite. She was the oldest of three children born to them. The family came to California in the 1930's. Wanda graduated from Sanger High School and was a proud Sanger Warrior for life.
Wanda married Wendell H. Bassett on October 27, 1946. They were blessed with one Daughter Kathleen in 1956.
Wanda loved God and was privileged to work in his service for forty plus years. First at the Fresno Baptist Book Store, then for the California Plan of Church Finance and in 2005 she retired from the California Baptist Foundation. She was a member of Fresno Bethel Baptist Church and 1st Southern Baptist church. She is preceded in death by her parents Frank and Eunice, her husband Wendell, and her brother Eddie.
Wanda is survived by her daughter Kathleen and her husband Micheal, her sister Wildon, her grandchildren Ashley, James, Ana, Mike and Niccole; great-grandchildren Kameren, Janiya, Jayla, Donovan, Nicholas, Austin, MacKenzie and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
She was a loving daughter, wife, and sister, the best mother and grandma, and a devoted loving Memom to her "great-grand babies. Wanda was a true caring unconditionally loving friend to many. She will be deeply missed and her memories cherished by those she loved.
