Born March 21 1933, in Lincoln County, she was the daughter of the late George Washington Bass and Clemmie Ethel Leonard Bass. Frankie was a loving wife, mother and Nana who cherished her family above all else. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, John Bobby Mosteller; five sisters and five brothers. Frankie is survived by her daughter, Diana M. Peeler and husband, Jim of Hickory; son, John F. Mosteller and wife, Nan of Richmond, Va.; brother, Robert Bass and wife, Jean of Vale; grandchildren, Carrie Eldreth and husband, Devin, Anna Mosteller and Alex Peeler; and great-grandson, Arlo Eldreth. A service of remembrance will be held at 3 p.m. Friday, March 23, 2018, in the Chapel of Drum Funeral Home in Hickory. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.
