Mrs. C.C. Bass Dies At South Boston
SOUTH BOSTON, Dec. 3 ? (AP) Mrs. Izzie Irby ZBass, wife of Charles Clifton Bass, South Boston tobacconist, died at her home here today.
Funeral services will be conductged at 3 P.M. Sunday at the residence, with burial in Oak Ridge Cemetery here.
Mrs. Bass, the daughter of Meade A. Irby and Amander Turner Irby, was educated in private schools. She was a Baptist and was active in the United Daughters of the Confederacy.
Surviving, besides her husband, are the following children; Mrs. J.L. Hardy, South Boston; Lowell T. Bass, Miami Beach, Fla.; Herman T. Bass, Orangeburg, S.C., and Miss Elizabeth Bass, Richmond, and three sisters, Mrs. E. L. Walton, of Danville; Mrs. B R. Cooner, of New York City, and Mrs. S.W. Dunn, of South Boston.
