WIESSMAN, BERNARD - Bernard Weissman 88, a long time Hastings on Hudson
resident died Monday. He was born in the Bronx to Edward and Ray Greenfield
Weissman. He graduated from CCNY and was a stock broker/trader for his own
firm of Gold Weissman in new York City for many years. He is survived by his
wife Marilyn, daughter Jane Weissman, son Edward Weissman, stepsons, Bruce W.
Bassett Jr. and David L. Bassett, step-grandchildren Colin, Caitlin, Rachel,
Sarah, Evan and Alexander Bassett. He is also survived by a niece Rhoda and
many other nieces and nephews. Funeral today 1:00 PM (Wednesday) Edwards-
Dowdle Funeral Home. Contributions in his name to Southern Poverty Law Center,
