Mary Bass
WALNUT ? Mary Bass, 73, died Friday, July 23, 2021, at Magnolia Regional Health Center. Services were held Sunday graveside at Camp Ground Cemetery in Walnut.
Born in Walnut on Jan. 14, 1948, she was office manager at Nails Pallet Co. and a member of Oak Grove Church.
Survivors are her husband, James Hugh "Hudie" Bass of Walnut; a sister, Clara Cutberth of Walnut; and a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Alva Z. Nails and Amanda Cleo Taylor (Nails), and three brothers, Tommy Nails, Billy Nails and Jimmy Nails.
Bro. Kenneth Drewery and Clay Nails officiated. McBride Funeral Home of Ripley had the arrangements.
