He was born Oct. 28, 1939, in Kokomo, the son of Robert D. and Mary Ellen (Bassett) Cooley. He was a member of St. Luke?s United Methodist Church. Daniel is survived by a daughter, Candace Ellen Lingenfelter; brother, Dennis Cooley and wife, Lois; sisters, Cynthia Ramseyer and husband, Bill; and Carolee McLallin and husband, Kerry. He was preceded in death by his parents. Friends may call on the family from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Shirley & Stout Funeral Home & Crematory, Lincoln Road Chapel, 1315 W. Lincoln Road, with a memorial service at 7 p.m. with the Rev. B.J. Siefert officiating. Burial service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Sunset Memory Gardens Cemetery.
