Jim Wilson will officiate, and burial will be in La Center Cemetery. Mr. Bass died at 5:12 p.m. Sunday at Western Baptist in Paducah. Mr. Bass was a member of Plumbers and Steamfitters ocal Union No. 184 and Providence Baptist Church. Surviving are his wife, Ginger Alexander Bass; one son. Michael Paul Bass of Kevil; his father, Carl Bass of Bandana; five brothers, Michael Bass and Gary Bass, both of Bandana, Steve Bass and Jimmy Bass, both of Paducah, and Eugene Waters of Austin, Texas; two sisters, Debbie Vinson of Kevil and Betty Garrett of La Center; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Hazel Bass. Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. today.
