- In January of 1924 Samuel and Luella Adams were living at 786 Brooks Street in Galesburg, Illinois. They wrote a letter to Ellen Bassett "me dear niece" congratulating her on her graduation from Savannah High School and hoping she will study in Galesburg the next year in college.
