BASSETT, Ronald Neal - Peacefully on Tuesday, September 8, 2015. Ron, husband of the late Margaret Bassett and the late Ruth Bassett. Father of Brian (Elizabeth) and the late Bruce Bassett (Julie). Step-father of Deborah Tennant (Ron) and Douglas Eaton (Mylene Langevin). Best friend of Donna Cochrane. Will also be sadly missed by his grandchildren: Elizabeth Bassett, Hilary Rovansek (Andrew), Simon Bassett (Jaime), James Eaton (Michelle), Douglas Tennant (Jessica), Sarah "Me" Tennant, Noel Gondek (Melodie) and Stephanie Eaton. Great-grandfather of 8. Family and friends will be received at the Trinity Anglican Church, 24 Collier Street, Barrie, for a Celebration of Life on Saturday, October 3rd at 1:00 p.m. Cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, donations to the David Busby Centre or a charity of your choice would be gratefully appreciated. Condolences may be forwarded through www.steckleygooderham.com.
