On March 20, 2022, Ernest passed away at the Riley House in Munster, IN. He leaves to cherish his memory son Ollie Bassett, daughter Tracey Bassett-Davis, grandsons Jeremy and Devon Bassett, Mark Davis Jr., granddaughters Naomi Davis, Christine Ward, and a host of nieces, nephews, and other family and friends. Visitation, Monday, March 28, 2022, from 9:00-11:00 a.m. with funeral services at 11:00 a.m. at Mizpah 7th Day Adventist Church 2350 Jefferson St. Gary, IN 46407. Interment Oak Hill Cemetery, Gary, IN.
