Jack P. Bass
Services for Mr. Jack P. Bass, 84, will be 3pm Saturday May 20, 2023, at Overton Hill Church with Bro. Kenneth Drewery officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be noon till service time Saturday at the church
He passed this life Friday May 19, 2023, at Magnolia Regional Health Center.
Mr. Bass was born in Alcorn County, Mississippi on April 14, 1939, to B.L. and Edith Bass. He worked in the trucking industry.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and his siblings: Ray Bass, Terry Bass, Faye Nails, and Shirley Rowland.
Those to carry on his memory includes his wife, Vernell Bright Bass, one son, Jason Bass wife Melanie of Nashville, Tennessee, his brother, James "Hudy" Bass of Walnut, one grandson, Caleb Bass wife Catherine of Nashville, Tennessee, and one great grandson Barrett Bass.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Jimmy Flake, Bobby Richardson, Mike Hutson, and James ?Candyman? Foster, Ralph Collier, and Gary Mullins.
The Corinthian Funeral Home is honored to serve the Bass family.
