Lillie S. Bass
MATHEWS - Lillie S. Bass, 71, of Cobbs Creek, died Friday, Nov. 4, 1994.
She was a native and lifelong resident of Mathews and co-owner of Bass Business Service. She was a member of Mathews Chapel United Methodist Church, Mathews, Senior Women's Club and the Cricket Hill Chapter of the National D.A.R.
Survived by sisters, Helen S. Tallman, Sandston, Vivian S. Abernathy, Cobbs Creek, Evelyn W. Edwards, Montpelier, Betty S. Wallace, Providence Forge, Doris S. Pritchett, Richmond, and Bunnie S. Fernald, Yorktown; 13 nieces and nephews and seven great-nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday at Mathews Chapel United Methodist Church by the Reverends Robert F. Justis and Robert C. Painter. burial in the Windsor Gardens Cemetery, Dutton.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Saturday at Foster-Faulkner Funeral Home, Mathews. Memorials may be made to the Mathews Chapel Memorial Fund, Cobbs Creek, Va. 23035.
