Temple G. Bass
MATHEWS - Temple G. Bass, 75, of Cobbs Creek, retired president and co-founder of Bass Business Service, died Wednesday, March 3.
A veteran of the Air Force, he was a member of Mathews Chapel United Methodist Church, past commander of Mathews Post 83 of the American Legion, an auditor for the former Bank of Gloucester, a former member of the Gloucester Rotary Club and the Mathews Ruritan Club and served on the Mathews Selective Service Board for a number of years.
Survived by his wife, Lillie S. Bass, and a niece.
Visitation from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Friday at Foster-Faulkner Funeral Home, Mathews.
Funeral at 11 a.m. Saturday at Mathews Chapel United Methodist Church by the Rev. Robert F. Justis and the Rev. Robert Painter. Burial in Windsor Garden Cemetery, Dutton.
