Geraldine B. Morrison, 87
, of Bedford, formerly of Sudbury and North Haven, Conn., died Thursday, Nov. 17, 2005, at the Carleton-Willard Village in Bedford.
She was the wife of Frank P. Morrison.
Born in North Haven, the daughter of the late Harold and Jane Elizabeth (Kapaloric) Bassett, she was raised in North Haven and graduated from Lyman Hall High School in Wallingford. She was a member of the Class of 1941 at New Haven State Teachers College.
Mrs. Morrison lived in North Haven until she married in 1942. The couple moved to Massachusetts and lived in Sudbury, among many towns, because of Mr. Morrison?s various assignments with the U.S. Navy.
Mrs. Morrison was briefly a private school teacher and later a substitute teacher in the Sudbury school system.
Besides her husband, she leaves her son, Andrew Morrison of Marlborough and a daughter, Susan O'Hara, of Boxford; a sister, Jane Sapper of North Haven; two grandsons, Jacob Weiner of Westfield and Aaron Weiner of Hedgesville, W.Va., and a granddaughter, Amy O'Hara of Tucson, Ariz.
She was the sister of the late Virginia Nutile.
Funeral services will be private.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Bedford Funeral Home in Bedford.
