  Notes	The Columbus Dispatch, September 10, 2014 David W. ?Pete? Ewing David W. Ewing "Pete", age 54, of Reynoldsburg, passed away on September 6, 2014 at Mt. Carmel East Hospital. Pete was born March 29, 1960 to Ret. Lt. Col. Wilbur and Barbara (Bassett) Ewing in Okinawa, Japan. He received his Bachelor's from Ohio University and then went on to earn his Masters from The Citadel Military College. Pete is also a U.S. Navy veteran. He taught high school social studies and special education at both Groveport Schools and most recently at Reynoldsburg City Schools. He is survived by his loving wife of 27 years, Kathryn Ewing; son, Zachary Ewing; parents, Wilbur and Barbara; brother, Michael Ewing; sister, Jane Holbrook; beloved friends, Doug Holbrook, Liz Ewing; and many nieces and nephews. A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, September 13, 2014, from 12:30 p.m. until 2:30p.m. at the PFEIFER FUNERAL HOME, Reynoldsburg, with Military Honors starting at 2:30 p.m. Donations may be made in Pete's memory to the Reynoldsburg High School Special Olympics.
