Charles James Bass
Charles James Bass, 71, of Bronson passed away March 2, 2018.
Mr. Bass was born November 25, 1946 to the late O.C. and Mable Bass in Gainesville, Florida, but he has lived in the Bronson area since 2000. He was a Veteran of the United States Army and a member of the American Legion Post # 236 in Bronson. Mr. Bass attended the Church of God, and in his spare time enjoyed watching TV, working in the yard, and reading.
Mr. Bass is survived by his wife Frieda Bass, his sons James Bass (Nicole) and Larry Bass, his daughter Diane Marquardt (William), his brother George Bass, his sister Patricia Nelson, his grandchildren Jonathan Dupree, Brianna Dupree, and Nicholas Dupree, his great grandchild Wyatt Dupree, and other extended family members.
Funeral services for Mr. Bass will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, March 10, 2018 at the Rick Gooding Funeral Home Chiefland Chapel. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
