Harold H. Bassett, 81, died November 16, 2004 at InTrust Hospice Taylor House.
Services will be 10 a.m. Friday, November 19 at Capital Hill Christian Church,
with burial at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Harold was an Army Air Corps veteran
of WWII and a member of Capital Hill Christian Church. He enjoyed spending
time with his family. Harold is survived by his wife, Shirley Evelyn Bassett;
two daughters, Sheryl (Steve) Hurd and Linda (James) Mehaffey; three sons,
John (Sandy), Mark (Ginger) and Brian (Marilyn); two sisters, Melva Gillim and
Olive Howard; 14 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren. Visitation begins
after 3 p.m. Thursday at Hamilton's Funeral Home, where the family will greet
friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to InTrust Hospice
Taylor House.
