Bessette was held from the residence at 9 o’clock yesterday morning, and at 9:30 o’[clock from St. Anne’s Church, where a solemn high mass was celebrated by his son, Rev. Harvey J. Bessette of Glens Falls. Rev. Arthur Dandeneau of St. Theres’a Church, Albany, was deacon, and Rrs. Adrien J. Beehard, assistant pastor of St. Joseph’s Church, was sub-deacon. Masses were celebrated at the side altars by Rev. Celas J. Robitaille and Rev. Harvey Desautel. Rev. Augustus Srvprenant, pastor of St. Anne’s Church, was master of ceremonies. More than 50 clergy were present. The burial was in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Waterford.
