Mrs. Alva Harris Bass, 61, wife of Obadiah Bass and a native of Charlottesville, died at her home in Lexington, Ky., Saturday. Besides her husband, she leaves a sister, Mrs. Myrle H. Cox, of Charlottesville, and two brothers, Harr H. Harris, of Charlottesville, and W. Clatis Harris, of Alexandria. A funeral service will be held at 2 P.M. Tuesday at the Hill & Irving Funeral Home, with interment in Riverview Cemetery.
