Connie was born March 27, 1935, in Elgin, Ill., to Eula and Cornelius Bass Sr. He is survived by his wife, Sinie Bass; children, Dr. Shari Bass (Kwesi Hill) and Sgt. Neil Bass (Miranda); and a cherished cousin, Clinton Frazier. Service will be on Monday, June 24, 2013, in St. John's Cathollc Church, 600 Columbus Ave., Benton Harbor. Visitation will begin at noon, with the funeral service at 1 p.m. Burial will follow in Crystal Springs Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to Connie's favorite charity, Sr. Paulita's Readiness Center for Children, 347 Catalpa St., Benton Harbor.
