John W. Tieso
MILTON - John W. Tieso of Milton, died at the Carney Hospital on Tuesday, March 30, 2010.
Born in Boston, Mr. Tieso lived in Hyde Park and Mattapan for many years before moving to Milton 8 years ago. John was employed for 29 years by the M.B.T.A. as a Bus Driver/Collector, he retired in 1991. He was a WW II Navy veteran, a Past Vice President and longtime member of St. Kevin's Holy Name Society, and a former member of the A.L. Post 128, Mattapan.
Beloved husband of the late Dolores E. (Beard). Devoted father of Charles V. of TX and John J. Tieso of VT, Linda D. Hughes and Mary C. Dillon both of Braintree, Dianne M.Chace of VT and Barbara E. Perry of Milton. Brother of Benjamin Tieso of Hyde Park, Mary Tieso of Milton, Geraldine Morello of Saugus, and the late Carmela Hepke, Margaret Jones, Frances, Vincent, Lucy and Frank Tieso. Also survived by 14 loving grandchildren, and his grand dogs.
Funeral Mass at St. Mary of the Hills Church, Milton Monday morning at 10. Visiting hours at the Alfred D. Thomas Funeral Home, 326 Granite Ave., Milton Sunday 4 to 8 pm. Interment Bourne National Cemetery Monday at 2:45 p.m.
