No Suspects in death of Wendy?s employee

GREENVILLE ? Police had no suspects or motive in the shooting death of a 22-year-old fast-food restaurant employee killed in the restaurant?s parking lot here over the weekend, authorities said.
Marvelin Isaac Bass, of Greenville, was shot once in the nect as he walked toward his car around 1 a.m. Saturday, said Sgt. Stacey Owens, a Greenville Police Department spokesman.
Mr. Bass, who had worked at the Wendy?s restaurant for about three years, was one of the employees responsible for closing up, said owner Jim Furman.
Mr. Bass? body was found across the street form where he was shot. He died just after 2 a.m. at a local hospital, said Tony Segars, deputy cornoner for Greenville County.
Mr. Furman said a counseling session would be offered for other Wendy?s employees.
?Our prayers and thoughts are with his family and our work family,? Mr. Furman said. ?It?s difficult to lose someone especially in a senseless tragedy like this.?
