Bassett - Died at her home on the Fulton-Wrights Corners road, April 7, Mrs. Ada Blasier Bassett. She is survived by her husband, Sidney Bassett; six daughters, Mrs. Alden Palmer, Syracuse, Mrs. Richard Tobin, Baldwinsville, Mrs. Stanley Austic, Mrs. Clarence Gross and Mrs. Ovid Wilcox, all of R.D. 3; six sons, Charles of Baldwinsville, William, Clayton, Raymond, Millard and Andrews, all of Fulton; a brother, John Blasier of East Syracuse, 23 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held from the home Monday afternoon, Rev. Rudolph Grossman of Little Utica officiating; interment at Jacksonville.

Charles Bassett
Charles S. Bassett, 74, of 523 Erie St., Fulton died over the weekend at Lee Memorial Hospital after a brief illness.
Born in Granby he was a life resident of the area. He was retired as an electrician for the Baldwinsville Appliance Co. He was a member of the Little Utica Methodist Church.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Theodoshia Bassett; two daughters, Ms. Elaine Shortslef of Sterling and Miss Loretta Bassett of Fulton; three sons, Vincent Bassett of Dover, N.J.. Sgt. Eugene Bassett, serving in the Army in Vietnam and Douglas Bassett of Fulton; five grandchildren; six sisters, Mrs. Allen Palmer, of Syracuse, Mrs. Stanley Austic of Fulton, Mrs. Richard Tobin of Baldwinsville, Mrs. Victor Austic of Fulton RD 3, Mrs. Clarence Gross of Clay and Mrs. Ovid Wilcox of Martville; five brothers, William, Clayton, Raymond, Millard and Andrew Bassett, all of Fulton, RD 3 and nieces and nephews.
Services were from the Young and Son Funeral Home. Burial was in Jacksonville Cemetery, Town of Lysander.
