Harold L. Peterson
Harold L. Peterson, 86, a resident of Albuquerque, NM for the past four years,
passed away on Monday, September 24, 2007. Mr. Peterson was born on April 26,
1921 to Classon V. and Edna B. (Fouts) Peterson of West Lafayette, I
served our country in the US Army Air Corps during World War II. Mr. Peterson
graduated from Purdue University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in
Engineering. He lived most of his life in El Paso, TX where he was a founding
member of Highland Presbyterian Church, President of the Lion's Club (Downtown
area), and the original owner of Unistrut-El Paso. In his spare time, M
Peterson enjoyed playing golf. He is survived by his four children: Patricia
Lee Staats of Chicago, IL, William R. Peterson and his wife, June, of El Paso,
TX, Timothy L. Peterson and his wife, Anne, of Albuquerque, NM, and David V.
Peterson and his wife, Cyndi, of Topeka, KS; eight grandchildren, and three
great-grandchildren. Mr. Peterson is preceded in death by his wife, Ell
(Bassett) Peterson, in 1990. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to
the Alzheimers Association, 225 N. Michigan Ave, Floor 17, Chicago, IL 60601-
7633, (800) 272-3900. Services will be held in El Paso, TX and are pending at
this time. He will be laid to rest, next to his wife, at Restlawn Memorial
Park. Harding, Orr, and McDaniel, 320 Montana Avenue, El Paso, TX, 7990
(915) 533-1646, will be conducting services in El Paso, TX. In Albuquerque,
