Folsomville, Indiana - Finess T. "JR" Bass, died Monday December 28, 2009, at St. Mary's Medical Center in Evansville.
JR was the son of Finess and Mary E. Barton Bass Sr.
JR was born and raised in Folsomville. He was a member of Teamsters Local 215 and retired from the Warrick County Hwy. Dept. after working 25 years.
He was preceded in death by four sisters and two brothers.
JR is survived by four children, Kenny W. and Robert K. (Stacey) Bass, of Folsomville, Jerry Lee Bass of San Antonio, Texas, and Zachary R. Bass of Lynnville; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two brothers, Gerald Bass (Marian) of Folsomville and James Bass of Tell City; and nieces and nephews.
Funeral service 10 a.m. Thursday, December 31, 2009, at Koehler Funeral Home Boonville Chapel, with burial in Ebenezer Cemetery near Jockey.
Friends may call 4 to 8 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. to service time Thursday at Koehler Funeral Home Boonville Chapel.

Finess Bass Jr.
Folsomville resident Finess T. "JR" Bass Jr. died Monday, Dec. 28 at St. Mary's Medical Center in Evansville. He was 70.
JR was the son of Finess and Mary E. Barton Bass Sr. He was raised in Folsomville. JR retired from the Warrick County Highway Department after working 25 years.
He was preceded in death by four sisters; and two brothers.
