Roland H. Bassett Sr. died Friday night at the home of his daughter Mrs. Louise Virginia Bassett Lauck of 346 Barkley Street, Burlington, New Jersey. He was 68. He was born in Bucktown, Maryland and had lived in Burlington fo 15 years. Mr. Bassett was last employed in the maintenance department of Florence Pipe Foundry and Machine Company in Florence, New Jersey. Also surviving are another daughter, Mrs. Helen May Bassett Mumford Thomas of Burlington and one son, Roland H. Bassett, Jr. of Florence, New Jersey, seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Funeral services were held Monday from the late residence with burial in Odd Fellows Cemetery on Route 130 in Burlington, New Jersey under the direction of Wayne H. Page.
