Albert A. Bass Pioneer In Northwest Dies
Albert A. Bass of 6549 Fourth Av. N.W., who was 95 Saturday, died yesterday in a nursing home. His wife died January 29.
Mr. Bass was bor in New York State. he moved to Tacoma in 1888 and went to Alaska in 1897. He returned to the Seattle area in 1907.
Mr. Bass was a member of the Alaska-Yukon Pioneers. He was the retired editor of the Fur Farmers magazine.
Survivors are three sons, Jack, Seattle, F.C., Martha Lake, and Willard Bass, Palmdale, Calif.; a daughter, Mrs. Bonny Londean, Palmdale; two sisters, Mrs. Lillian Ellis, Tacoma, and Mrs. Jessie Moore, Encinitas, Calif.; ten grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 3 o?clock Wednesday in the Evans-cummings chapel. Burial will be in Mount Pleasant.
