Mr. Bass was born April 22, 1940, in Buchanan. He had resided in Benton Harbor since 1941. Mr. Bass had been employed at Yerington Concrete Company. Surviving are his widow, the former Claudia Buecks, whom he married on April 27, 1963, in South Bend; a daughter, Dorothy Marie and his mother, Mrs. Donald Worley of Benton Harbor. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday in the Pipestone chapel, Florin funerl home. Dr. Carolos C. Page, pastor of the Peace Temple United Methodist church, will officiate. Burial will be in North Shore Memory Gardens. Friends may call at the funeral home.
