Anna Barr Bassett
Anna Barr Bassett, age 93 years, of Middletown Twp., Media, PA, died on Saturday, October 12, 2023, at the Quadrangle in Haverford, PA.
Born In Philadelphia, PA, Mrs. Bassett had been a resident of Middletown Township for the past 46 years.
A graduate of Girard High School, Anna had been employed in the Upper Darby School District as an Executive Assistant to the Superintendent for 25 years until her retirement.
Anna was a member of Saint John?s Episcopal Church in Concord, PA. She also had been a member of the Middletown Township Library Board.
She loved to draw and paint and enjoyed knitting. Some of her art was displayed at local art shows.
The wife of the late Ralph Emerson Bassett, Jr., she is survived by her son, Ralph E. (Reb) (Joan) Bassett, III and one daughter, Carol (Gordon) Carlisle. Also survived by her grandchildren Ralph E. Bassett (Matthew McNally) and Sara Elizabeth Bassett.
Services followed by interment in St. John?s Episcopal Church Cemetery will be private.
