Visitation is 11 a.m. Saturday, May 26, at Riverwood Family Funeral Service of Brookhaven until services there at 2 p.m. Mr. Bass was born Sept. 10, 1954, in Texas. He was the son of the late Hollis and Gladys Terrell Bass. Mr. Bass was a self-employed carpenter and was a member of Eddiceton Baptist Church. He was also a member of the Louisiana-Texas Coastal Salt Water Anglers and Cookers. Survivors include his wife, Rose Case Bass; three stepsons, Clint Rutland and wife Rikki, Nathan Ellis and wife Chelsy, and Nick Ellis; a daughter, Courtney Biggs and husband Nathan; a stepdaughter, Khristy Gladden and husband Adam; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Ricky and Jennifer Bass and Rusty and Kathy Bass; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Martha and Mike Smallwood and Mary and Randy Russell; 10 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
