Earl Bassett Run Over By C. of G. Freight Train
Earl Bassett, age 17 years, was run over and seriously injured by a Central of Georgia freight train yesterday morning in the Georgia Railroad yard. He is call boy for the Georgia Railroad, and hopped the C. of Ga. train as it was passing through the Georgia yard. He was climbing up the side of a freight car when the train passed another car, which knocked him under the wheels which passed over his left arm and right foot, badly mashing both. He was immediately carried to the hospital.

BASSETT ? Entered into rest June 7, 1960 at 6:22 a.m. Mr. Earl Edward Bassett of 415 Seventh Street, husband of Mrs. Julia Muns Bassett. Funeral services will be conducted at the graveside, Magnolia Cemetery this (Wednesday) afternoon at 3:00 o?clock. Remains will be at the Funeral Home, Elliott Sons.
