Church in East Patchogue. The bride ? the former Miss Susan Spaccarotella of Everett St., Patchogue ? is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Spaccarotella. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Bassett of East Patchogue. Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a contemporary style gown of candlelight ivory in polyester crepe and silk with a high ruffled neck, fitted bodice and long sleeves. The bodice, neckling and double-ruffle cuffs were appliqued in Venise lace of a trellis rose design. A floor-length veil fell from a picture hat edged in Venise lace. The bride was attended by Miss Diane Schordine of Patchogue who served as the maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Miss Marlene Spaccarotella, Miss Jaonne Zanga and Miss Mary Ellen Bassett. Gina Fierro of East Patchogue was the flower girl. Thomas Bassett attended his brother as best man. Ushers were John Ruocco, Alan Steiger and Peter Spaccarotella. A reception was held following the ceremony at the Middle Island Country Club. The couple is making their home in Holtsville.
