Ethel Mae E. Turner
FLORENCE ? Ethel Mae Edwards Turner, 77, widow of Willie James Turner, formerly of Mullins, died Tuesday morning, Aug. 28, 2001 at her residence in Florence after an illness.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 30 from Cox-Collins Funeral Home in Mullins, with the Rev. John Collins and the Rev. Stevens officiating. Burial will follow in Devotion Gardens Cemetery, directed by Cox-Collins Funeral Home.
Mrs. Turner was born March 21, 1924 in Marion County, a daughter of the late Thoams Whiteman Edwards and Mary Ethel Roberts Edwards. She was a homemaker and was a member of Mullins Church of God.
Surviving are a sister and brother-in-law, Vera and David Salstrom of Wheaton, Ill.; five nieces; two nephews, eight great-nieces and nephews; and special friends Grace Todd and her family of Florence.
Mrs. Turner was predeceased by a son, Carlisle Turner, and a brother, Enos Edwards.
