Donna Jean Bassett, 73, of Pine Grove, WV saw her Savior?s face on December 31, 2021 while at Wetzel County Hospital.
Donna was born November 19, 1948 in Sistersville, WV, daughter of the late Gilbert Ray and Alda Ruth (Henderson) Eddy.
She was a homemaker, a graduate of Tyler County High School Class of 1966, enjoyed quilting, cooking and volunteering at the nursing home, loved her grandchildren and a Christian by faith.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Bassett; grandson Davie Sivert and twin great granddaughters, Everly and Eden Anderson.
Surviving are her son, Tim (Melissa) Bassett of Reader, WV; three daughters, Michelle (Gary) Burch of Reader, WV, Connie (David) Sivert of Jacksonburg, WV and Terri (Fred) Sivert of Reader, WV; five brothers, Allen (Trish) Eddy of Massillon, OH, Nelson Eddy of New Martinsville, WV, Frank Eddy, Floyd (Darlene) Eddy and Ronnie (Cindy) Eddy all of Middlebourne, WV; sister, Cindy Greathouse of Jacksonburg, WV; ten grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends received 2-8 p.m., Sunday, January 2, 2022 at the Williams Funeral Home, 12750 Shortline Hwy, Pine Grove, funeral service will be held 11 a.m., Monday, January 3, 2022 at the Trinity United Methodist Church in Reader since parking is limited at the Straight Cemetery, attendance is going be limited to just her children and grandchildren.
Anyone wishing to donate food may drop off at the parsonage beside of the church.
Memorial contributions may be made, in Donna?s name, to the Pine Grove Senior Citizens Group.
