BASSETT, RICHARD D. 62, of Riverside, beloved husband of Claudette (DeNoncour) Bassett died Sept. 11, 2015. His funeral will begin Thursday at 8:45am from the Rebello Funeral Home and Crematory, 901 Broadway, East Providence, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in St. Brendan's Church, 60 Turner Ave., Riverside. Burial will be private. Calling hours will be Wednesday 5pm until 8pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are respectfully requested to the RI SPCA, 186 Amaral St., Riverside, RI 02915. Richard D. Bassett, 62, of Elinora St., Riverside, died peacefully surrounded by his family, Friday afternoon, Sept. 11, 2015 at the Hattie Ide Chaffee Home. He was the beloved husband of Claudette (DeNoncour) Bassett. Born Oct. 24, 1952, in Providence, he was the son of the late George and Doris (Lusignan) Bassett. Richard worked at Astro?Med in West Warwick. In addition to his wife of 25 years, he leaves his daughters, Dawn Morgan of Riverside and Michelle Gibbons of Warwick; 5 grandchildren, Kyle, Everett III, Haley, Stacey and Nicole; his great-granddaughter, Alanna; his sisters, Cheryl Pimental and her husband Dennis of Johnston and Deborah Bassett and her husband Steven Thomas of Woodstock, VT; his niece, Amy; his nephews, Richard and Mathew; and his brother-in-law, Gerald DeNoncour of Coventry.
