Foster Grow Bass Jr.

Foster Bass, age 90, of Centreville, Virginia passed away on March 7, 2021. He was born in Arlington, Virginia on February 26, 1931. After high school graduation, he began learning to be a watch repairman. Foster worked for ?Time Keeper? for many years. In 1978 he opened his own watch repair shop inside of ?John Greenan and Sons? in Springfield, Virginia where he remained until his retirement at the age of 81. He was very much in demand for watch repairs.
After a long relationship, he married Joyce Anderson on September 25, 2004. They enjoyed each other during their many years together. Also surviving are his two sons, John and wife Donna, and Gary. Foster is also survived by 4 step-children, Debbie and husband, Pete Resta, Dayle and husband, Kenny Jones, Vicki and wife, Peggy Johnson and Robert and wife, Samantha Anderson. Also surviving are 10 grandchildren and step-grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and other family members.
Those proceeding Foster in death were his parents, his first wife, two sisters and a great-grandchild. A special celebration honoring his life will be held at a later date.
