Margaret T. Bassett (picture included)
Margaret T. Bassett, 84, formerly of Meadowbrook Drive died Thursday, January
10, 2008 at the Scandinavian Home Cranston. She was the wife of the late
Elliott R. Bassett.
She was born in Providence a daughter of the late Anthony & Margaret (Carroll)
Daly. Mrs. Bassett previously resided in East Providence & Port Charlotte,
Florida.
She was a communicant of St. Brendan Church, a member of the East Bay Singers
and an avid bowler.
She leaves one son, Gary E. Bassett of Warwick, one sister, Veronica 'Vera'
Mousseau of Florida & one brother, Joseph Daly of Cranston.
Her funeral will be held Monday at 8:00 A.M. from the Perry-McStay Funeral
Home 2555 Pawtucket Ave. East Providence with a mass of Christian burial at
9:00 A.M. in St. Brendan Church, Turner Ave. Burial will be in the Rhode Island
Veterans Cemetery. Calling hours Sunday 3-6. In lieu of flowers contributions
to the Alzheimers Association 245 Waterman St. Prov. R.I. 02906 would be
deeply appreciated.
