She was born July 5, 1939, in Oklahoma City, OK, and lived the majority of her life in Dallas, TX. Barbara will be remembered for her charisma, humor and poise. She lived a long life full of travel, games with friends, and dancing. Above all, she cherished God and her family. As the matriarch of her family, her strength and warmth will be carried on. Barbara is predeceased by her mother, Bertha; father, Paul; and brother, Harold. She left behind her son, Kolby Bass (Leslie); daughter, Kelly Wood (Craig); granddaughter, Katie Ardon (Edgar), great-grandchildren, Lily, Audrey, and Lucas, and her beloved Shih-Tzu, Max. Barbara will be laid to rest with her mother, father, and brother at 1:00pm, January 27, 2023, at Memorial Park Cemetery, 13400 N. Kelley Avenue, Oklahoma City, OK 73131. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the SPCA of Texas.
