She was born September 5, 1918, a daughter of Noah Francis and Mary Blair Bassett. She leaves her husband, Charles Bennie Logsdon, two daughters, Mrs. Anita Louise Troutman, of Webster and Mrs. Cecilia Ros Betley, of Jeffersonville, Ind., nine sons, Charles Oliver, of Vine Grove, John D. and Richard Lee, both of Brandenburg, David Lawrence, of California, James Benjamin and Francis Landon, both of Payneville, Michael Anthony, of Marietta, Ga., Joseph Henry, of Guston, and William Earl, of Korea. A sister, Mrs. Nettie Byrd, of Ethridge, Tenn., two brothers, William L. Bassett, of Flaherty, and Joseph Bassett, of Valley Station, 24 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Funeral services were 2 p.m. Saturday, March 16, from St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church with the Rev. Msgt J.A. O?Bryan officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery directed by Hager Funeral Home of Brandenburg.
