Phyllis Schwartz
SPENCERVILLE ? Phyllis Jean Schwartz, 75, of Spencerville, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, June 21, 2017, at St. Rita's Medical Center surrounded by her loving family.
Her Family?. She was born November 21, 1941 near Elgin to Harold and Mildred (Boroff) Patrick, her father preceded her in death, her mother survives in Converse. In May of 1998 she married Maurice Schwartz who survives in Spencerville.
She is also survived by a daughter, Paula Bassett of Stoutsville, a son, Doug Bassett of Venedocia and a daughter Janine 'Jan' (Eric) Goshorn of Stoutsville; a step-son, Steve (Jennifer) Schwartz of Cridersville; two step-daughters, Melanie A. (Andy) Heitzman of Blanchester and Barbara (Greg) Fett of Lima; two sisters, Jane (Gerald) Jerome of Van Wert and Patsy Jo Patrick of Spencerville; a brother, Dick (Kay) Patrick of Spencerville; nine grandchildren, Christine, Johnathan, Amber, Stephanie, Megan, Summer, Miranda, Audrey and Logan; and 8 great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by an infant brother.
Her Legacy?. Phyllis had worked at the Top Hat in Spencerville, H&R Block in Van Wert, the Pallet Factory in Delphos and Vancrest of Delphos.
She adored her family, her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed gardening, flowers and reading and really liked watching old TV shows, especially the Andy Griffith Show.
Her Farewell Services.? A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, June 26 at Weber Funeral Home, 1840 E. Fifth St., Delphos. Pastor Charles H. Johnson will be officiating. Burial will follow in German Zion Cemetery, corner of Kossuth-Amanda, Eisley and Burnfield Roads.
Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. on Monday at Weber Funeral Home. Donations may be made to Auglaize County Sheriff Department. Online condolences may be shared at www.weberfh.net.
