A funeral service was held Tuesday, Nov. 11 from Morris Funeral Cottage Chapel. Burial followed in Quick Cemetery, Wallace. Born in Marlboro County, Mrs. Wright was a daughter of the late Sumter and Orella Bass Wright. She was a 1965 graduate of Eastside High School, Bennettsville. Surviving are a son, Torrey King of Brooklyn; five sisters, Ora Lee (Samuel) Pitts of Buffalo, N.Y., Susan (Alender) Gerald of Brooklyn, Elease (Matthew) Miller and Azilean (Walter) Armand both of Cheraw, Arie (George) Goldson of Laurel, Mary.; a brother, Nathaniel Wright of New York; four aunts, Mable Ellerbe of Youngstown, Ohio, Katie Johnson of Md., and Leola Bass and Ida Bass both of Wallace; and a number of other relatives and friends. Arrangements were entrusted to Morris Funeral Cottage.
