Jacqueline Kay Bass (Picture included)
Jacqueline Kay Bass, passed away peacefully on December 5th, 2020,, at the age of 96 in Toledo, Ohio where she resided for 55 years. Jackie was born in Detroit, Michigan to Aurelia and Sylvester Kay.
Her career was a legal administrative assistant at a law firm in Detroit and the University of Detroit School of Law. She was preceded in death by her husband, William B. Bass and son, William Kieran Bass.
Jackie's greatest joy was being a Docent at the Toledo Museum of Art.
Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Mary Kay (Randy) Minder - Toledo and grandchildren, Lauren and Sarah Minder of Toledo, Kristopher, Morgan, Marilyn and Georgia Bass all of Chicago; daughter-in-law, Paula Carter Bass and former daughter in law, Laura Jones (Bass). Also "daughter at heart", Mary Frances Kreidler and her two daughters, Jacqui and Kristy of Sandusky, Ohio.
Well-read, well-spoken and creative, she served as both a role model and an inspiration. Jackie will be sadly missed by the many whose lives she touched.
Jackie's family is planning a celebration of her life in May if conditions allow. In lieu of flowers, it was Jackie's wish that memorial contributions be made to Corpus Christi University Parish, 2955 Dorr St, Toledo, OH 43607, The Toledo Museum of Art and Christ Child Society of Toledo.
The family would like to extend their deepest gratitude to the staff at The Waterford at Levis Commons and to Mary Ann at Promedica Ebeid Hospice.

Jacqueline Kay Bass passed away from COVID on December 5th, 2020 at the age of 96 in Toledo.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William B. Bass; and son, William Kieran.

A celebration of life will be Saturday, May 8th at 11:00 a.m. at Corpus Christi University Parish, 2955 Dorr St. Toledo Ohio 43607. The service will be shown virtually on www.CCUP.org.
