Services at Allison & Rose Funeral Home, Robbins Street and Madison Avenue, Covington, Saturday, January 23 at 2 p.m. Interment Independence Cemetery.

Mrs. Lena Riggs
Services for Mrs. Lena Riggs, 67, of 311 Garrard Street, Covington, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Allison & Rose Funeral Home, Covington. Burial will be in Independence Cemetery. Mrs. Riggs, a native of Kenton County, was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church and of Jefferson Council No. 11, Daughters of America. She died Tuesday at Booth Hospital after a long illness. Mrs. Riggs leaves two sons, Robert, Williamstown; and Carl Riggs, Los Angeles, California; two daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Lemmon and Mrs. Helen Ratcliff, Covington; two brothers, Herbert Bass, Ft. Thomas and Clifford Bass, Newport; two sisters, Mrs. Melvina Pettit and Mrs. Margaret Armstrong, Falmouth, and four grandchildren. Friends may call from 3 to 9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
