Frank B. Bassett
Frank B. Bassett, 76, Greenwood, died Thursday at St. Francis South.
Born in Tennessee, he was the son of Ralph and Cecil (Moore) Bassett.
He had been a taxi driver for Yellow cab and a courier driver for Now Courier Service. He was a U.S. Army veteran and a member of Atkins Saw American Legion 355, Indianapolis.
His wife, Juanita Bassett, preceded him in death.
Surviving are three sons, Stan Bassett and wife Jan; Frank Bassett Jr. and wife Marcella; both of Plainfield, and Mike Bassett and wife Pam, Florida; five daughters, Marcia Lowe and husband Paul, Clayton; Sandy Bassett, Maryland; Vicki Allgood and husband Jay, Waveland; Pam Custis, Clayton; and Kim Rich and husband Tim, Texas; two sisters, Marie Murphy, Greencastle, and Mary Lou Brown, Spring, Texas; a brother, Duane Bassett, Carmel; and 17 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Bethel Cemetery, Fillmore, with Reverend Steve Ranson officiating.
There will be no visitation.
Hays Funeral Home, Coatesville, is handling arrangements.
