Lois Reich Bass
MEBANE - Mrs. Lois Reich Bass, 86, a former resident of 4023 Windy Hill Trail in Mebane, died August 5, 2010 at White Oak Manor of Burlington.
Born in Guilford County, she was retired from Hebron Child Care Development Center. She also worked many years as a dental assistant. She was of the Ladies Circle of the Hebron United Methodist Church and a member of the choir.
Survivors include a brother, Russell S. Reich Jr. and wife Virginia of Buffalo, N.Y.; sisters-in-law, Elizabeth Reich of Asheboro and Shirley Burgess of Mebane; and a host of loving nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Hubert Lee Bass; parents, Russell S. Reich Sr. and Pearl Alspaugh Reich; bothers, Phillip A. Reich, the Rev. Gaither Reich and Virgil Ben Reich.
A graveside service will be conducted at 3 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 15 at Hebron United Methodist Church cemetery by the Rev. Bryan Sexton. Visitation will follow in the church fellowship hall.
