  Notes	Bennington Banner, Tuesday, April 8, 1969 South Cambridge, Mrs. Edward R. Stiles Mrs. Elsie Bassett Stiles, 67, wife of Edward R. Stiles died suddenly at her home near Salem last Friday evening, April 4. She was the daughter of the late George and Mabel Burch Bassett and resided in this community for many years before moving to her present home. She was employed for a numb years at the Undergarment firm in Hoosick Falls. She was a member of the South Cambridge United Methodist church. Survivors beside her husband include one sister Mrs. William (Beryl) Irwin of East Greenwich and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held on Monday afternoon at the McClellan funeral home in Salem with Rev. Oswald A. Muller pastor of the South Cambridge United Methodist church officiating. Interment was in Woodlands cemeter Cambridge.
